Performance Engineering Built to the exacting standards of our Sovereign line, the Kodiak utilizes an end grain orientation where the wood fibers stand vertically. This technical alignment allows your blade to slide between the fibers rather than severing them, protecting your knife’s edge and ensuring the "self-healing" surface remains pristine. The light, clean tones of the Hard Rock Maple provide a high-contrast canvas for the rich, dark Walnut inlay, which is integrated deep into the board's structure for permanent durability.
Tactical Precision At 2" thick, the Kodiak offers the density and ballast required for a stable, non-shifting prep station. The closed-pore nature of both Maple and Walnut makes this an exceptionally hygienic surface, naturally resistant to moisture and bacteria. Every board is precision-milled using CNC technology to ensure micro-tolerance joinery before being hand-finished in our veteran-owned workshop.
Workshop Standards Following our signature 320-grit sanding protocol, each board is saturated with food-grade mineral oil to enhance the wood’s natural luster and provide a mission-ready moisture barrier. This board features a sleek, minimalist profile without finger grips to maintain its modern aesthetic.
