The Tattered Glory Sovereign is a high-fidelity tribute to resilience and the American spirit. Featuring a precision-milled, tattered U.S. Flag inlay in deep Black Walnut, this board is built on a foundation of mission-ready Hard Rock Maple. As a cornerstone of our Artistry Series, it is designed to serve as both a rugged culinary workstation and a powerful visual statement of pride and endurance.
Technical Specifications:
Dimensions: 20” x 16” x 2” (Standard Inlay Scale)
Construction: End Grain (Self-Healing Vertical Fiber)
Primary Hardwood: Premium Hard Rock Maple
Inlay Material: American Black Walnut
Features: Non-slip rubber feet for stability and precision airflow
Performance Engineering Following the exacting standards of our Sovereign line, this board utilizes an end grain orientation where the wood fibers stand vertically. This technical alignment allows your knife blade to pass between the fibers rather than severing them, protecting your edge for surgical precision and ensuring a "self-healing" surface. The high-contrast Walnut inlay is integrated deep into the structure of the Maple core using CNC micro-tolerances, ensuring the tattered flag remains a permanent, structural part of the board.
Stability & Discipline Built for the high-intensity kitchen, the Tattered Glory is equipped with professional-grade, non-slip rubber feet. This ensures a rock-solid foundation during heavy prep while providing 360-degree airflow to maintain the board's dimensional stability. The 2" thickness provides the necessary ballast to dampen acoustics and resist shifting under load.
Workshop Standards Every board is hand-finished in our veteran-owned California workshop using our signature 320-grit sanding protocol and deep saturation in food-grade mineral oil.
